Hi. I’m Joe.
I design editorial systems, lead content strategy, and help organisations produce better work more consistently.
With ten years of experience across professional services, membership organisations, and research-led businesses, I specialise in the operational and strategic side of content — building the workflows, governance frameworks, and editorial standards that allow complex organisations to communicate well at scale.

Recent work includes designing and implementing an organisation-wide content planning system at the Royal Institute of British Architects, rebuilding editorial production at Canvas8 (where I halved production timelines), and leading editorial and production teams at Oxera Consulting across five years of progressive responsibility.

Experience
Content Operations Manager — Royal Institute of British Architects (2025–2026)
Designed and implemented an organisation-wide content planning system across six departments and 24 colleagues. Led stakeholder discovery, governance design, software procurement, and training rollout.
Copy and Production Manager — Canvas8 (2024–2025)
Rebuilt the editorial team and halved production timelines through end-to-end workflow redesign. Oversaw the business’s most commercially successful annual publication.
Editorial and Production Team Leader — Oxera Consulting (2022–2023)
Led a team of five editors and multiple freelancers. Directed a firm-wide brand refresh programme including 90+ hours of staff training.
